(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: Tower of Terror

I don't know that Tower of Terror is my favorite ride at Disney, but it rates right up there at the top of the list somewhere... in May 2011 I had the pleasure of riding with a newbie, my husband's Grandma. (She could have outdone us all at Disney!!)

Below is our ride photo. We were in the top row on the left. You couldn't see not one of our faces because each of them were blocked by an arm or a hand from the row in front of us. (You should be able to double-click on the image to enlarge it to see better...)

Boy, would I have loved to have seen her face! She had a pretty good hold of mine and Dad's arms during the drop, but when she got of she said she'd enjoyed herself! I'm so glad I got to experience her first Disney trip with her! So much fun!!

  3. Tower of terror is one of my favorite rides. If it wasn't that my husband was sick when we went one time I would never have rode this ride. He usually does rides like this with the kids(I am a chicken) and he couldn't ride this one so I had to take them. Boy am I glad I did. It was so much fun and if it wasn't that hubby was sick I probably wouldn't have ridden this ride yet.

  4. Karen, while it must have stunk for hubby to have been sick, it's a good thing he was. I think everyone should at least try this one once! It's so much fun!

  9. Funny, maybe there's something about getting older that makes us braver. After a 10 yr hiatus, I simply HAD to try TOT at DLP. Now I don't know what I was afraid of!! Go Granny :D
