Hi! I'm Brittiany, but my friends call me Bird. Check out my reviews and travel tips. I specialize in Disney, but you can see a little about all of my journeys here.
BookGirl, 50's Prime Time Cafe transports you right back to Mama's kitchen in the 50's where you dine with your cousins from across the country. The waitresses play up the part, and you'd better not get caught with your elbows on the table!
Jill, try the smores when you go. Trust me!!
Manda, you are so right, it was a hot, HOT day for sure!
I was at the beach this past week, so I am just now getting a chance to check out everyone's Wordless Wednesday posts!
Love the pic! And I loved the restaurant. However, my husband did NOT. He tends to get grumpy when he's hungry (men!) and was not in the mood to play around with our "Mama" waitress. I thought she was hilarious.
This is my favorite WDW restaurant! It's so much fun and the decor is top notch. On our honeymoon, we had lunch there but I didn't eat my vegetables. I'm just not big on the greens. So our waitress, "Cousin Sue" saw that and then loudly scoulded me for not eating my veggies. Then she said "Grandma Jo" in the kitchen was going to come out and make me eat them. Instead, she grabbed a spoonful of my veggies, ran to the other side of the restaurant and then loudly yelled that I did not eat my veggies. She then proceeded to airplane-feed me my veggies. So embarassing but funny at the same time!
Did you guys eat there? Cute pic!
